2023-03-28 --- fumbleball is like soccer but a lot goofier. the ball is not exactly round, so it doesn't roll in a straight line. it's also slippery and hard to hold. you can do whatever you want, but the idea is to get the ball into the opposite goal. the ball spawns into the field at a varying but predictable location. if a player intersects the ball, it ends up translating in a line directly away from the player at roughly head height. this can be used to score by distracting the opposing team while the ball spawns in and translates into their goal. the ball can also be duplicated by exploiting a glitch in the rules around the out of bounds directly behind the goal line, when the ball is both in and out of bounds according to different floating point implementations.
